In World War II, Mr. Sennheiser helped the German Army with the radio transmission of coded messages.
Fritz Sennheiser, 98, Executive, Dies
I’m sorry, am I missing something here?
Does someone have more information they could share regarding Sennheiser’s involvement with the “German Army?” (who I’m pretty sure were, oh, you know, killing millions of people in concentration camps).
I’m also pretty sure they went by the title “Nazis.”
How does the NY Times gloss over this? Was Sennheiser not involved by the time the extermination started? Did he join any resistance groups? What was his story in relation to the war?
I’d like to know, as it seems like a rather important aspect of his legacy. If he really did distance himself, or wasn’t involved - it’s a damn important fact to leave out.
This is, in my opinion - poor, irresponsible journalism.
