Back from Alaska and I only have a zillion photos to go through.
In all seriousness though - It was otherworldly. I’ve been to a few national parks before, and they were all beautiful - but the scenery at pretty much any location in Alaska is almost too much to comprehend.
We spent a bunch of time in Kenai Fjords National Park. We were surrounded by snow capped mountains, green forests, gigantic glaciers, jagged cliffs, whales, otters etc…
We also spent some time in Valdez, which, despite it’s association with the famous oil spill, has recovered, and is unbelievably beautiful as well.
I’ll be posting some photos as i get through them. Here’s one from the beach in Valdez.
