  My grandparents in Egypt, 1944.

  I found this photo today while visiting with my grandmother.

  At the time my grandfather was serving in the US Army, and my grandmother in the South African Women’s Auxiliary Air Force.

  They met in Cairo, and traveled the world over together for the rest of their lives.

  I love them very much.
