You could probably outfit the entire state of New York with all the damn shoes hanging above Williamsburg.
Took advantage of the lazy evening yesterday to snap some more photos of the sunset over New York City. At first, I headed to East River State Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, but Faith No More was playing. Not wanting to pay the $44 to get in, I headed south to Grand Ferry Park, where Grand St. meets the East River. As night came, the views were stunning. I’ve lived in New York for almost four years now (uh, wow), and I can’t believe I haven’t taken the time more often to see the sun duck below the city skyline - it’s a pretty amazing sight every time.
Here are some of the photos from the park as well as other locales: NYC/Brooklyn Sunset Photos.
The photo above was taken during my walk to Grand Ferry Park, but most of the others were taken from the park, as well as a pier I found, the JMZ subway platform at Marcy St. and some older shots from JFK Airport, of all places.
Two things I do regret: Not having my real camera on me…and not wearing sunglasses…ouch.
