As if the giant fallen tree in front of us wasn’t enough, the spray painted trunk let us know which way the trail turned.

We took the bus out to Palisades Interstate Park this weekend for some hiking. It’s another one of those spots just outside of the city that you’d never think to explore when you’re immersed in the daily commotion of New York City. Totally worth the quick trip.
