Some shots from Bodega Bay, CA and the surrounding areas. Took way too many pictures of the waves hitting those rocks - you can see the scale of the whitewater against the person standing up on the rocks.

Looking out on San Francisco from Twin Peaks.
Osprey Nest from last summer’s trip to Maine.
The rest of the photos from my walk on Indian Wells Beach and through the dunes in heavy fog (here’s the first one). It was pretty otherworldly not being able to see past a few steps in front of me. As I’ve written before, seeing beaches in non-sunny, atypical (for me) weather is still a rush given that I grew up in California.
Full set here.
Fog covered beach (I), Indian Wells, Long Island.
These were fun to take as I could barely see 10 ft. in front of me.
A nice (unique) walk on the beach…
Last bit of light at the corner.
Dusk at a corner intersection.
Amagansett, Long Island.
This view made my sitting in the window seat next to a rather large man (aka: pressed against the wall of the plane without access to one armrest) worth it.
Good morning fall.
Lake reflections from Ann Arbor, MI.
…and this is what Miami Beach looks like if you actually turn towards the water.
